Web SCGI Support for PLT Scheme

I've done a preliminary release of my SCGI library for PLT Scheme.

If you have an existing Web-based system in PLT Scheme that uses CGI, this library can probably make it run a gazillion times faster, with fewer changes than reworking the code for the PLT Web Server would take.

I wrote this library over a year ago, and mentioned it on 2009-02-19, but today it needed to be released with an open source license so that it can be used in a certain system.

Standing Desks

Working this Sunday, I experimented with a "standing desk."

So far, it's been good for waking me up when sitting down was making me drowsy, and for making pacing interleaved with typing easier.

I'm going to try it for a while, alternating with sitting and sofa.

I'm also keeping an eye out for deals on IKEA Birch veneer products that I can use to build a standing desk platform for atop my sitting desk.
